# Who is Lilly Ryan?

Lilly Ryan (@attacus@aus.social) is a historian-turned-hacker.

In addition to her day job discovering vulnerabilities in web applications and helping developers avoid them, Lilly is an erstwhile Python developer and serves on the board of Digital Rights Watch.

She writes and speaks internationally about facial recognition, social identities after death, teamwork, and the telegraph.

# Why 'attacus'?

The attacus atlas is one of the largest species of moth in the world. I like them. And the handle mostly wasn't taken.
